We want to be intentional to let you know that technically, by definition, we are the church. My wife and I would qualify, but also our daughter, and LORD willing, our sons soon. The church is made up of disciples of JESUS. All others are deceived, pretending, or fake, posing as churches... or simply the corrupted remnants of what used to be a genuine church. Disciples of JESUS are "Christians," so SAYS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.  And JESUS clearly states in Luke 14 and Matthew 10 who can be one and who cannot be one. JESUS SAYS. Not people.
This is the Great Deception. Christian life without salvation. So close to the TRUTH of JESUS, but never actually delivering it. And that close, for most, is close enough. 
Not for us. We are true "Christians," that is, slaves of CHRIST, as GOD SAYS through Paul, our lives are not our own anymore. We gave our lives to JESUS. HE purchased us. HE owns us now. Property of JESUS. HE IS MASTER (LORD). We don't live our life anymore. We could have, like everyone else, but we gave all that up, like JESUS did for us. Even unto death, even unto crucifixion. JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD made flesh, and we are dedicated to studying HIS WORD, learning it, and doing it (not just hearing it). Please pray that we (chiefs of sinners - very screwed up wretches) would walk worthy of the calling to which we've been called.

This is not self-depricating. Truly, whatever sin you're guilty of, we are likely also guilty of it (not all sin, by GOD'S grace), so, of course, in obedience to GOD, there will be judgment, but righteous judgment, in love, and without condemnation, pushing you away or shunning you. The world will know you are disciples of JESUS by your love. We've been there and done that. This place is real.

As for me and my house, we will serve THE LORD.
